John Logan Dailey, born on April 21, 1937, was raised in Casper, Wyoming. He was an only child. His mother passed away when he was 12 years old. He attended the University of Colorado on an ROTC scholarship and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1959. John met Jary during welcome week of their freshman year at CU on a blind date. They married in 1960 in Denver, Colorado. They then moved to California where he served three years in the US Navy as a Naval Officer on a destroyer. When his military service was complete they moved back to Denver where he worked for Cameron Engineers as an Oil Shale consultant. When Jary was in the hospital in 1963 with their first daughter Erin, John and his father Logan, moved into the house that they continue to call home today. In the following years, Kelly and Jill arrived on the scene to complete the family. John put himself through Law School while working as an Engineer and graduated from the University of Denver School of Law in 1972. He then opened his practice, Dailey, Goodwin, and O’Leary, and specialized in real estate and tax law. He retired in 2004 from his private practice while continuing to provide legal counsel to a limited number of clients.
John Dailey has left many legacies. He was a member of Corona Presbyterian Church for 48 years where he faithfully served in many capacities including Sunday School Teacher, Elder, Trustee and Legal Advisor. Additionally, daughter Jill founded an exercise studio under the name “The Dailey Method” www.thedaileymethod.com that has since grown into an international franchise. From the outset, John was instrumental in working with Doug (Jill’s husband), who runs the business side of things, to provide helpful legal counsel and fatherly wisdom. Kelly runs the studio in Paris, France which also offers dance under “Dailey Dance.” Erin teaches at several of the studios in Illinois and offers training and consulting under “Dailey Alignment.” Additionally, John was a founding member and legal/financial advisor for Parousia for the Nations (PFTN) www.parousiaforthenations.com a non-profit organization founded by Kelly, Erin and several others both in France and the USA .
