Joe N. Williams was born to Cecil Smith and Elmer Williams on November 23, 1942, in Gilmer, Texas. He graduated high school from Witchita Falls, Texas. He relocated to Colorado in 1961. He managed a restaurant in Cherry Creek before working for a roofing company and lastly the health care field.
Joe, age 77, peacefully passed June 19, 2020, at 12:08 pm in Aurora, Colorado. Joe will be remembered by his: wife Ava (Chase) Williams of 35 years, his five daughters, Deborah Williams, Felisha (Fields) Williams, Ericka (Smith) Williams, Lyndsay (Bowman) Williams, and LeAndra (Williams-Ward) Williams, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: Glen and Rand, 4 sons-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his mother, father and 2 brothers: Lynn and Wilbert.
Joe was a kind, loving, devoted husband and father whose greatest joy was his family. He proudly retired from Centura Health after 25 years of service as the supervisor of environmental services. He enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and all sports. His favorite team was the Denver Broncos. He loved taking his daily morning walks.
He was greatly loved, respected, and admired by many and will be truly missed.
