He was my chaplain when I was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas forty years ago.  He was kind and caring.

Both Jerry and Sharon were an indescribable Blessing to me while I was a student at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary.     Their family with their two precious children, Sherry and Jeffrey, encouraged and helped to strengthen  my faith  journey  with  patience  and God's love .   They even welcomed my parents and me for a visit into their lovely home in Germany when I retturned from a year of missionary service in Zaire, Africa in 1978. To Sharon, Sherry , Jeffrey and all loved ones, I send my love, my prayers of comfort, and my inexpressable thanks for all you have done to bless me.

It was a blessing to have this man as part of our family.  It was a privilege to be able to witness the celebration of his greatest promotion.  The service was beautiful!  He will be missed, but, as with all loved ones lost, God will sustain us and the memories will always make us smile!

Words can never do justice to the incredible man we lost, he leaves a whole in our lives. I am so blessed to have had the joy of calling him dad, and I will always remember when he told me I could call him that. Marrying Jeff and becoming a Webb will always be one of my best choices. I will treasure the memories we had the opportunity to make together with our family. Dad was an amazing father in love, a caring and loving grandfather and an incredible example of Godly love and servant of Christ. We will carry him in our hearts forever and one day see him again when we are united in heaven!

My dad epitomized loving the Lord his God with all his heart and loving his neighbor as himself. He had a fantastic kingdom view of life and I am so proud that I am able to call him dad.

Jerry Webb was a genuine brother, a generous friend, and a wonderful example of a man who is fully devoted to following God and serving people.  His career path as a minister and chaplain was miraculous and allowed him to use his talents and resources to influence and help many, and I am sure his rewards are many.  March 1, 2017 marks his promotion day to the Heavenly Armies as the leader, counselor, and encourager he was created to be.

What a wonderful, loving, and caring husband of 52 years. He loved and served his God and his family well. Our life together was blessed beyond measure. He has always been "my darling" and has brought so much joy to my life.  Thank God for the hope that I will see him again one day.

The last time Uncle Jerry and I were together was when he went to California with my father, Robert Webb and attended the funeral of their brother William. After Uncle Jerry dropped off his rental car he and I had a few hours to hang out before his flight. He requested that I drive to the big Bass Pro Shop and I followed his orders drove to the store. He went through the doors and directly to the arcade and got about $10 worth of quarters and gave me half and we each went to a corded laser rifle and shot at the moving targets until our quarters were all gone. It was a fun couple of hours before he flew out. Then I spoke to him about 3 years ago when he called to compliment the book I wrote. A kind and encouraging man.

Sharon, we are so sorry to hear the news of Jerry's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Jerry's teaching was amazing. He shared so much about the Lord and the Kingdom to come. Loved hearing his many stories about his family and childhood. There will never be another Jerry. The memories are too many to count. Thank the Lord for such a wonderful, wonderful man of God. Love, prayer and hugs to Sharon and the family.

It was such an honor to know Dr. Webb. You were a great principal during High School, and friend at church. Your legacy is amazing and we love your family to pieces!! Until we meet again.... praying for Sharon and the kids during this time. Love yall

My heart is heavy with sadness of losing a wonderful brother. My thoughts and prayers go out to jerrys family. I'm sorry I could not be there for you to say our goodbyes.

We have fond memories of Jerry...a faithful follower of Jesus, always had a smile, so gentle, truly loved his wife and family and will be missed. He is now whole and  visiting with Jesus face -to -face...what a wonderful heritage he left behind. Prayers continue for the family. We love you.

My dad was the kindest, most loving, and generous person you could ever meet. He was humble and loved God with all his heart. He loved his family and his country. He was loyal, determined, diligent, successful, an all American patriot and my personal hero. He loved to write and has always kept a personal journal so that we would still have a part of him, even after he was gone. He instilled in me a love for family, God, the Bible, prayer, and art. My dad was adventurous, and loved to take his kids, and later grand kids on a hike and almost always carved a walking stick from something he found along the way. He was a hugger. We had many long, wonderful talks on the phone and Skype (which he always said was a miracle). He was one of my best friends. He always had my back, came to my rescue, and defended me. I will miss him so much! He was a wonderful person. I love you dad and always will.
