Jeffrey Lee Stefanek, age 56, a loving son, faithful brother and beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews, passed away in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado on November 6, 2017 due to an extended illness.
Jeff was born on June 4, 1961, in Denver, Colorado. Jeff lived in Georgia, Hawaii, California, Japan, Italy, and eventually settled in Colorado. He worked as a Myrtle Beach lifeguard, and after two years of college, Jeff set out on his adventure, traveling the world working as a professional model. His travels allowed him to scuba and sky dive in remote locations, run with the bulls in Pamplona, swim with sharks, backpack across Europe and Asia, and explore many locations across the US. His love of adventure was only exceeded by his love of golf. He returned to Denver in 1994 to work in the family business, ESSCO Carpets and assumed the role of owner and President after the passing of his father.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Theiner Stefanek; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Becky Stefanek, and their children, Cole and wife Caylee, Ali and Hannah; brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Jenny Stefanek, and their children, Jonah, Jameson, Jude and Julian. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Adam Daniel Stefanek, and sister Julie Shawn Stefanek.
He will truly be missed by his family, and many friends he made during his world travels.
