James "Jim" Shears, 85, of Loveland, CO, passed away December 13, 2018. He was born on September 24, 1933 to Jessie Denham and Harold Shears. He married Miriam Shears on September 1, 1957. Together, they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage.
Jim enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He loved the mountains, spending many days surrounded by nature. He had an extensive stamp collection and would spend evenings listening to emergency scanners. Most of all, Jim and Miriam enjoyed travelling, and their wonderful trips to Hawaii.
Jim is survived by his wife Miriam, children; Kevin (Susan), Connie (Richard) and Deanna (John), grandchildren; Brittany (John), Alyssa (Trevor), Charles, Riley (Danelle), Yale and Brandon, siblings; Keith, Joan and Mike (Anna), and great grandson who will be his namesake in January.
