Irma Pearl (Alexander) James age 91 passed away June 7, 2023. She was a former principal at Cole Middle school and retired in 1985. She was an active member in her beloved sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, and in her church Risen Christ Catholic Parish, and many other social events.
She is survived by two loving daughters Michele James-Penick, and Kerri James: Grandchildren, Eric-Paul, and Mikel-Claire Penick: Great-Grandson Cairo Murphy, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 starting with the viewing at 9:00-9:30AM, Rosary from 9:30-10:00AM, then the Mass of Christian Burial at 10am all services at Risen Christ Catholic Parish, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy Denver, CO 80222. Burial to follow at Olinger Hampden Cemetery, 8600 E. Hampden Ave., Denver, CO 80231 between 11:30AM and 12pm. Reception to follow from 12pm to 2pm at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E. Hampden Ave., Denver, CO 80231 located in the Ponderosa Reception Room.
