Inge Martha Hughes

Inge was born in Kassel, Germany on January 7, 1930.

She married Samuel Hughes on October 5, 1948 in Hilders, Germany. His death preceded hers on September 6, 2009.

She resided in Pocatello, Idaho for 65 years, and in Denver, CO for the last 4 years.

She is survived by her brother, Rolf Bergmann of Frankfurt, Germany; daughters Jane Allen of Pocatello, ID. , and Elaine Hughes of Denver, CO.; her granddaughter, Michelle Ostler of Pocatello as well as her great-grandson Colton Stears and great-great-granddaughter Kynlee Stears.

Inge was a wonderful Wife, Mom, Grandmother and friend to many. She was a good person, honest, loving, genuine, smart, wise and very funny. She also had great courage and strength, which was so admired. She was an amazing woman.

She loved good conversation, good food and lots of laughter. Her beautiful smile and inner light will forever be remembered, and with us. Her lovely soul has touched so many and made our world a better place.

All our Love and thanks to beautiful Inge who will always be in our hearts and souls.

Memorial services are not planned at this time and will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Inge would’ve wanted us to carry out random acts of kindness to others.
