Georgia Lee Dye

Georgia passed away peacefully at her home 12-10-2015. She was born on 5-22-1933 in Beaver, Smith County, Kansas USA to Vern Gibson Craig and Mildred Georgia Malone. Georgia was the youngest of 3 siblings: John Junior "Red" Craig and surviving Georgia her sister Anna Belle Craig Bomgardner. Georgia was married to Raymond Leon "Ray" Dye Jr. on 12-15-1948 in Aurora, Arapahoe County, Colorado USA for 65 years. They lost 2 babies and were blessed with 2 children: Darrell (Pam) grandchildren Matthew Dye, Megan Smerchek (Damon), great grandchildren Keyln, Carter Smerchek; Daughter Sharrell Norcross (Greg), grandson Jeremy (Julie), great grandchildren Michelle, Beth, grandson Joshua (Marissa), great grandchildren Heaven, and Jensen, grandson Caleb (Mikayla) Norcross, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. Georgia came to Colorado at the age of 2. Georgia was introduced to the gospel message by Uncle Paul at Sullivan 2 Room School House. Uncle Paul would come during school hours weekly and teach the students about Jesus using flannel graph in his VW Bug. Georgia loved to bowl, play Bingo and have her hair done weekly. Family was very important to Georgia. She will be greatly missed by family & friends.
