Evelyn Nunez Lopez

1927 – 2012

Evelyn Nunez Lopez went to be with the Lord on July 13th, 2012. Evelyn was born November 22nd, 1927 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Donicio Nunez (deceased) & Juana Espinoza (deceased). The Nunez family consisted of brothers Antonio Nunez (deceased), Lorenzo Nunez, Margarito Nunez, step-brothers Cruz Contreraz, Melecio Contreraz and Juan Contreraz. On December 11th, 1972 Evelyn was joined in marriage to Felemon Lopez (deceased) their love endured for 40 years. Evelyn was very proud of being a compassionate and loving homemaker and sharing her kindness with all who would receive it.

Evelyn was strong in her faith and she loved the church. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have met her along her journey. The family would like to thank all of those persons who extended their hearts to Evelyn over the course of her life. They ask all those who read these words to remember this – care carefully for one another, be kind and gentle with one another and always love one another.

Evelyn will be laid to rest beside her husband at Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan, Colorado at 12:00 noon on Friday, July 27th, 2012. Please come and share in this final farewell.
