We are honoring Ed in our hearts. Born in Cambridge, MA, en enlisted in the Army in 1945. He came to Colorado when stationed at Lowry Air Force Base and Experienced his own Rocky Mountain high when he first viewed the mountains from his barracks window. He remained a proud veteran all his life.
Ed married the love of his life, Roberta Armstrong, on October 18, 1947 and they were a devoted couple for 68 years. He was a caring father to Roxanne and Charles; a loving grandfather to Laura Patterson, Carly and Sophie Bushman; and a delighted great-grandfather to Halle Patterson and Quinn Pokallus.
An avid reader and history buff, he loved sharing his knowledge to any and all. He especially liked travels to England and Scotland, inviting family members to join him on these adventures. Ed was a 40-year employee with Mtn. Bell/USWest and then embarked on a 15 -year volunteer service with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Above all Ed Bushman was a kind, caring man and gentleman, We will miss him dearly.
A graveside service for Edmund will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236.
