I just found news of Devons transition, I was  shocked to see his early demise. I always thought we'd live forever (or long enough it would seem that way).
My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. So many memories flood my mind as I think about Devon it's almost impossible to come up with words, so I'll just carry him in my heart. Blessings to all.....

Dear Ashley and family, we send our deepest condolences to you at this difficult time.  I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved father Devon. I remember him well. He was always smiling and always happy.  A very artistic and creative man. He was very sweet and I know he loved Ashley very much. We pray for strength, love, health and unity at this time for you and your family. His memory will always be alive. Rest in peace Devon.

This photo of Devon captures his essential Coolness. That twinkle in his eye often preceded a colorful comment on life or politics, he made exceptionally cool art, and – always sharp as a tack – he fought and vanquished his demons to build his life with Beth (and Puddy). We were privileged to share more than 30 years of friendship with Devon. He was our very good friend and a sweet, sweet soul.
 
We know how much Devon loved each of you, Beth, Mick, Peggy, Ashley, Alfred, Camille, and Dillon. May time bring more smiles than tears as you remember him.

Good Morning To All,
Welcome to this celebration of the life for Devon Randall.  Yes it is a sad day but only because he is know longer among us.  Whenever I think of Devon I think William Dafoe & The Marlboro Man. He definitely lived a life of adventure with zero boundaries and quest to look for the best in every situation. As a child I remember him being really FUNNY and always had a joke, it may not have been a politically correct joke but it was always hilarious.  I enjoyed cruising around Vespas, shooting guns and yes we did drink alot of beers together which may have contributed to one "Minor" accident, but the details are not that important. Uncle Leigh asked me to mention a "Thrilling high speed chase on a triumph down Speer Blvd in which they eluded the cops...allegedly!. Devon was always a supportive and very encouraging, often times I reached to Devon when I could not reach out to anyone in my family, he was always helpful and understanding. I will truly miss those conversations. Devon was a top class craftsman, culturally intelligent, with a desire to experience everything life had to offer.  I hope he is having a good time and visiting with those of us who have passed previously and having a great time doing it. He was a complex man who enjoyed the simple pleasures life had to offer.  I will miss him but I know he is in a better place and enjoying the rest of our family members are no longer here with us.

Hi Beth, Mick, Peggy et al.

I know how sorrowful Devon's passing must be for each of you. He was such a friendly, loving man!

At family gatherings, of which there were far too few, he always seemed to suddenly appear behind me, tap me on the shoulder, and have a huge smile on his face. it was as though he wanted to see if I instantly recognized him.

He was also very artistic. I loved his giving me a tour of the summer house he built behind his regular home. 

Even now, I see him gathering wood to carve some beautiful spiritual cane, as he strolls towards one of his many motorcycles.

I always enjoyed going over to their house on Colorado boulevard with Kalmbach on our motorcycles years ago ...Devon always had a smile to share and laughing sense of humor...seeing him and Beth again 3  years ago at their home brought back many conversations between us  that day about good times in the past...Mr. Randall, Mickey, and he showed me his old 356 Porsche,  and we laughed about my old Harley...Devin was always a bright light in the world...he will be missed my thoughts and prayers for Beth and family are with you today...Best your way always Beth ....

We feel so fortunate to have gotten to be Devon's neighbors for so many years. Devon is not only a wonderful human being but also an amazing artist. We have you all in our hearts during this difficult time. Love and hugs from Pam, Andrew, Katie and Braden Kerr.
