Debbie J. Carter (born Debbie Jackson) passed away at the age of 62 on Friday, March 10th, 2017 at 6:02 PM, surrounded by her loving family.

Debbie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but she always considered Colorado and Florida to be her true homes. Debbie loved her family and considered them to be foremost among her passions. These passions also included cooking, exploring her spirituality and ‘scooterpooping’.

Debbie passed away Friday evening at the Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Her wish was to be cremated and to be spread among her favorite places.

Debbie was predeceased by her son, Keith Wayne Carter, and is survived by her son Richard Carter and her daughter Iva Carter. She is also survived by her brothers: Allen Jackson, Jr. and Brantley ‘Buddy’ Jackson, her sisters: Mary T. Jackson and Lori Jones, her three wonderful grandchildren and one wonderful great-grandchild as well as several very special nieces and nephews.
