Daniel "Dan" Shawn Robinson

October 10, 1964 – March 11, 2025

Daniel Shawn Robinson, age 60, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him dearly.

Born in Illinois, Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as a fixed-wing mechanic shortly after graduating high school. After his service, he explored various paths before finding his long-term home at RTD, where he worked as a dedicated and respected mechanic for nearly 30 years.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Silviana; his children, Amanda, Denise, Jeff, Miguel, and Ricardo; and his cherished grandchildren, Natalia, Leo, and Max. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Dami and Sky, who brought him endless joy in his later years.

Known affectionately as “Dan the Man,” he was an honest, kind-hearted, and generous soul who left a mark on everyone he met. Dan’s favorite times were those spent surrounded by family and friends—celebrating holidays, grilling at backyard cookouts, enjoying Friday Dairy Queen dates with Silviana and Natalia, or simply relaxing outside watching his grandkids and dogs play.

Dan now joins his mother, Marion, and his treasured pups Hershey and Brownie. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the laughter, love, and memories he created. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation for Dan will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave., Denver, CO 80231.

A funeral service will occur Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 8600 East Hampden Ave., Denver, CO 80231.

A graveside service will occur Friday, April 18, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80260 Staging Area "C", with Navy Military Honors rendered.
