Clarence Johnson was born to Henry and Clessie (Beavers) Johnson in Ohio, on April 21st. He was the youngest of 10 children. Right after graduating from highschool, Clarence joined the United States Air Force, serving 4 years. Following his Air Force career, Clarence went to work for the US Postal Service, maintaining their vehicles. After 25 years he retired. He loved John Clancey and John Grisham novels, and enjoyed puzzles.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Johnson and Clessie Beavers Johnson, and siblings, Hugh, Betty E., Hazel, Patricia, Catherine, Delores and Clessie. He is survived by his daughter, Lynette; son in law, David; grandchildren, Myles and Paige; sisters, Mildred of Dayton, OH and Henrietta of Atlanta, GA; as well as, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Clarence will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:30AM.
