Bonnie was born on October 13, 1943 in Austin, Texas. She was adopted by Luther and Mable Wininger on July 8, 1952 and moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. She had two brothers Jesse (Wayne) Wininger and Earl Kincheloe.
She graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1962 and moved to Denver, Colorado to pursue a career in Nursing. She graduated from the Presbyterian Hospital Nursing Program, where she then worked in the Cardiac Care Unit.
She met her husband Nathan (Nate) Bryant through her classmate in the Nursing Program and best friend Wilma Bryant. Her and Nate married in January of 1969 and had almost 54 years together prior to Nate’s death in August 2022. They had two children; Rob and Karen.
Bonnie was a kind, compassionate and loving individual with a sense of humor and love of her family and friends. She especially loved her weekly lunches with Rob, Cirque du Soleil shows with Karen and traveling with Nate, Karen and Rob. Her favorite activities included visiting National Parks and Monuments, Zoos, Museums and Wineries with friends and loved ones. She also was an avid sports fan, specifically the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies and loved James Bond Movies. Bonnie was an animal lover and she, and her family, had several cats and dogs throughout her life, all of which were loved and spoiled.
Bonnie was very loved and will be missed by family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bonnie's memory may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the ASPCA.
A rosary service for Bonnie will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 9:30 AM followed by the memorial service at 10:00 AM, all at Risen Christ Catholic Church, 3060 S Monaco St Pkwy, Denver, CO 80222. Internments for both Nate and Bonnie will be held at a later date at Black Hills National Cemetery, 20901 Pleasant Valley Drive, Sturgis, SD 57785.
