Betty was born in Troy, Kansas, on September 28, 1931 to William and Viola (Brown) Emory. She graduated from Troy High School.
Betty married Paul Joseph Hannon on October 15, 1951. Paul preceded her in death on May 15, 1982.
Betty raised four sons as well as working with Dr. Roy Jones (ENT) in Denver, Colorado. Her favorite things included card games (especially bridge), dancing, strawberries, and Christmas decorations, but most of all, any time spent with her family and friends was her greatest joy.
Betty is survived by her sister, Janet Johnson, of Michigan, and her sons Michael, Patrick (Diane), Kelly (Kim), Tracy (Honor) and her grandchildren, Paris and Patton. She will also be missed by her nephews, cousins and many friends.
Betty will be buried with her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado, in a private service. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
