Annette Catacutan Moore, aged 50, died peacefully on February 7th, 2016 in the comfort of her home in Denver, Colorado after a long 12 year battle with breast cancer. She was born on April 19th, 1965 in Angeles City, Philippines, the daughter of survived Florencia Salenga Catacutan and the late Ernesto Lugtu Catacutan. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Anthony Troy Moore, and three daughters Laura Antoinette Moore, Camille Ellen Moore and Brooke Ashley Moore, as well as her 11 siblings in the Philippines: Joel, Helen, Samuel, Daniel, Marlene, Edna, Thelma, Catherine, Marites, Maricris, and Ernie.
Annette understood and embraced the importance of higher education. She attended Dr. Clemente and Dayrit Elementary School and graduated from Holy Angel University for high school and college, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, all located in the Philippines.
In 1991, she met the love of her life, Anthony, while they both were attending the wedding of close friends in the Philippines. Shortly after, they married on Anthony’s birthday, March 27th, 1992, where she would soon make her way to the United States. 2016 would have been their 24th anniversary.
In addition to raising three beautiful daughters, Annette worked as a paraprofessional at Carson Elementary School and then continued a career at the Denver Motor Vehicle, where she worked full time up until her last month of life.
Annette was the most kind-hearted and giving human being of all time. She enjoyed cooking (and she was a mean cook!) and also spending quality time with the entire family and her closest friends. Her battle with cancer was a beautiful, yet tiring journey and her calling to heaven has finally put her at peace. In lieu of flowers, the family will be taking donations that will be going to a cancer charity of their choice.
