Alice was raised by her Aunt and Uncle Beatrice and Alonzo Rolison in San Jose, California. She met William E. Grannell from Denver, Colorado while he was attending Santa Clara University. They married in June of 1948 and set up their home in Denver, Colorado. Bill preceded Alice in death in 2018. Alice is survived by her children Bill Jr., Mara and David Grannell; grandchildren Sloan and Ryan Clark and Matthew Grannell; great-granddaughter Monroe Clark, whom she adored.
Alice was a homemaker and loving wife. Alice and Bill were 50 year members of Columbine Country Club of which Alice loved playing golf and competing. She leaves behind many loving friends.
Per Alice's request, there will be no services and she will return to her beloved Monterey Bay for the scattering of her ashes.
