Dad - words can't express enough how much I love you and how much you will be missed. I am not sad because this is not goodbye but I'll see you later when my Father in Heaven calls me home I'll see you again. Oh what a joyful time. Thank you for being human and having flaws. It allowed me to be human and make mistakes too but I never saw life get the best of you. I am strong because I am weak in Christ our Savior. I love you daddy. Your eldest daughter Rachel.

My Grandpa, you still and always will be my superman. You were always a gentleman, willing to help or give to anyone in need. Fearless whenever life had problems and would always put a smile on anyone's face that you came across. You will forever be in my heart, and my angel on my shoulder whenever I make a conscience decision I will always think what would grandpa say. You're not only a role model but in inspiration because if I can carry your values that you taught me as well as those values you lived then nothing in this world can stop me. Grandpa I will see you again and this time I will be the one telling stories of you in my life, I love you so much and miss you everyday thank you for everything superman.

Dad  I don't  know were to start.. For u r all to me the beginning and the end. Your wisdom was the light for me in pointing me in the correct direction always there in spirit , when not in person. Family  -Morality -fairness- compassion- and humor. Were only a few of the many  things that u left with us . HOW I WILL MISS U. LOVE YOU UNTIL THE END OF TIME . May u find Mom in HEAVEN.

We just want to say thank you. We love the time me and Dante had with you and can't thank you enough for being such a great grandpa to even make us feel part of the family. At first grandpa always had a tough posture that was a bit intimidating but to find out that he had the largest heart of anyone. Grandpa showed me and Dante what it was like to have a real grandparent. We thank you for everything you have done from taking care of your family to also watching over the younger ones to make sure we all learned what was right. You will always be in our hearts till we all meet again. We love you Alfonso Fajardo.

Alfonso Fajardo was great man as well as father, brother, and grandpa. He was a man who could always make you smile and show you the right path. We are all blessed to have known you for the time we spent together feels to short but we're some of the greatest and most special moments in my life. Alfonso was a loved man.

My Gramps, my GrandFATHER. 

One of my earliest memories of Gramps involved him giving me a laundry list of things to do. I remember wondering why I was the only one doing all the work when I had cousins around.  After all, some cousins were even older and, at the time, were just hanging out and playing outside. I was stuck inside being miserable. After a couple of hours of work I gained the courage to confront my Gramps as to why I was being punished. There had be labor laws or something to stop this abuse! So, I stopped what I was doing and walked over to Gramps demanded to know why he was punishing me. I have to admit I was terrified, as he looked right at me.  I was expecting some euphemism like Because I said so! or something to that effect. But surprisingly, he replied, Because you are the only one that can do it, and do it right. 

This memory stands out because it was the first time someone other then my mother made me feel distinguished. In retrospect, it was a great way to get me to finish the work, which my virtuoso Gramps excelled in. Even so, it doesn't change the fact that at that time, at that very moment, Gramps made me feel important and that I mattered. To this great man and my role model, I mattered and he thought I was somehow special from everyone else. 

Over the years Gramps taught me a lot about being a man. He taught me about always taking care of my mother and brothers. He would tell me that I was the man of the house and that it was my responsibility whether I liked it or not to protect my family all the times. He taught me to be tough and to get back up when I got knocked down. If someone wanted something from me and were willing to use force to get it, he reinforced that I should make known to others that I would not be an easy target. 

The lessons my Gramps taught me are invaluable.  It is the stuff that you pass on to others and, God willing, to future generations.  But for all of his wisdom, I will most of all never forget how he also made me feel.  Because of my Gramps, I know what it means to have a father's love.

I look forward to the day I get to tell my Gramps how much I love him. How much he made me into the man I am today and how everyday I'm grateful to GOD for blessing our family by having Gramps in our lives. I've always felt that death was only the beginning to the next life, and now my Gramps is there. We will meet again Gramps. We all will be there with you one day. 

I love you Gramps!

To the Man who knew what it meant to have it all. Your love throughout the years weighs more than any amount of gold and is evident in the family you have raised. Our successes in life are rooted in a foundation of family and a will to overcome, key values taught by you. 

Thank you for your time, your love, and your strength; the greatest gifts anyone can give. You never lost sight of what it means to truly live life and share it. Grandpa, you will be missed, thank you for showing us what it means to have everything. Family.

Thank you Grandpa for making me the women I am today. Thank you for guiding me in life so that way I could grow to be a great wife, mother, and friend. With out you, I would not be the women that stands here today. 

Thank you for being this family's back bone. For being the foundation that this family was built on, the glue that kept us together. 

Grandpa, you will not be forgotten. You were a remodel to us all. Your legends will be passed on for generations to come.

He must have been an amazing person, considering what a great person his son Richard became.

Hey grandpa Chris here I just wanted tell you some things while your sitting there, you know in your recliner chair your probably watching a sci-fi movie up there, so push pause and let me tell you some things I can feel you looking right at me, you gave me strength that I never knew I had and you made me appreciate having my own dad, you always told me to stand tall, and that its ok to sometimes fall, it's how you get up instead, that will define your strength inside, you used to tell me "it ain't nothing to it but to do it" so I had to look into it, and I kept falling over and over but it's those words that made me never roll over! You see as I was a kid I looked up to you most, you always had my back but at the same time never cut me slack, as you showed how to take care of myself, because at the end of the day nobody else, would you even believe that you also saved me from my parents demolishing me, as I almost set the house on fire you see, but you never said a word and you even bought me a burger afterward! You see grandpa your the greatest dude I've ever known but most all I have this wealth of knowledge that you have sown, embedid in my head and for that I hope you rest in peace up there!!!! Love you  

PS Also grandpa my kids are doing great I'll always let them know about you! My daughter is becoming a beautiful young lady! And my son is a Prince getting ready to carry on our last name! They send there love always!!!!!!

I truly believe that I was blessed to have known and been loved by such an amazing man! He was this family's everything! Without him we wouldn't be here nor would we all be who we are! He gave each of us his own gift to hold within ourselves. You were my hero when I was small and will continue to be my hero always! You taught me to never let anybody take my integrity and I know I'm not some peoples favorite because of that, but hopefully you're in heaven smiling for what I've done. I know that you're not really gone, but rather just walking here beside us and watching over us all always. I know it's selfish of me to wish that you were still here, but I do understand why you had to leave us all, you needed to give yourself some rest and to be with Grandma again. It is a comfort to know that heaven has a brighter star because you are there! I'll just keep my memories here of you and I'll just speak your name with pride! I love you dearly "Grandpo" ❤

My dad was the best! He was a father, loving husband, brother, grandfather and friend to many people. He was more than just my dad; he was my best bud, my superhero. I could always come to dad to talk about anything, and he would have just the right answers. I admired my dad and had a great deal of respect for him. He was my dad!

My dad was a hardworking man; he never took no for an answer; he treated everyone with the respect and dignity; he saw no obstacles. He was my dad! 

I was always proud of my dad and everything that he accomplished in life. He came from little means, a humble background, but, built a wonderful career and life. He was my dad!

He left home at a young age, working in the fields, taking on skilled jobs before settling in on operating and owning 3 successful business. He was an entrepreneur, carpenter, plumber, electrician, mechanic and business man. Yes, that was my dad! 

He taught me to work smarter, not harder; he taught to be a man of integrity, respect, honest, loyal and forgiving. Yes, that was my dad! 

I learned a lot about cars and how to build things; doing my own home repairs. Yes, that was my dad! 

At an early age my mom died leaving my dad with the task to raise 5 kids. He spent countless hours working, sometimes three jobs keeping the family together but he always spent quality time making sure we were well taken care of. Yes, that was my dad! 

My dad loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hanging out with family, yearly family trips (mom loved to travel) but dad most loved mom!! I loved my dad's sense of humor (we all have), sound advice and life teaching. Yes, that was my dad! 

My dad was a generous man, willing to help others in time of need. Dad was transparent, wise beyond his years. My dad imparted in us strong work ethics and loyal family ties. I know that I will be filling big shoes, but I hope that I can continue on his legacy. I will miss my dad more than words can say and will never forget him. Yes, that was my dad!!!!

My Father-in-law was an amazing man.  I've never considered him as a "Father-in -law" he was always my dad.  He was so sweet and kind, funny and so full of love.  Dad always said "nothing to it, but to do it"  never give up on life, always be successful. It truly shows in all his Kids, the love and the determination to make a difference in this "crazy" world as he would say. He taught my husband to be an awesome man and I truly thank him for that.  

Dad was surrounded by SO MUCH LOVE the last few days he was with us.  I'm so blessed and so proud to apart of the FAJARDO family.  It was beautiful to have all the grandchildren and the siblings together sharing their memories.  

 I LOVE YOU DADDY YOU WILL BE MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN. l
