William “Bill” Eugene Clark passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at The Homestead of Denison, in Denison, TX, surrounded by family. He was born August 17, 1957 in Atchison, KS, the son of Clifford S. Clark and Donna M. Utter.
Bill was primarily raised in Salina, KS. After attending Salina High School Central, he bravely served in the US Army. After returning home, he worked for several years at Clark Enterprises, a family business, where he excelled in sales, travelling across the country to conventions and trade shows. He was also well known for his love of fishing, cars, rock and roll music, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and for his fun loving sense of humor.
In Salina, he met Kim Kohutek Cox Clark. They married on July 10, 1984, and went on to have three children: Sean, Haley and Garrett. After many years in Salina, Bill, Kim & Garrett relocated to Pottsboro, TX in 2016.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Kim, of Pottsboro; four children: Allyson Lindstrom (Chris) of Gilbert, AZ, Shannon Foster of Detroit, MI, Sean Clark (Ariel) of Salina, KS, Haley Clark of Cartwright, OK, and Garrett Clark, of Pottsboro, TX; a brother Jim Clark (Peggy), of Salina, KS; 4 sisters: Pam Bellm of Salina, KS, Debbie Utter of FL, Leslie Willits (Timothy) of Pottsboro, TX, Amanda Otto (Kyle) of Smolan, KS; his stepmothers Marlene Little and Deanna Clark, both of Salina, KS; and six beautiful grandchildren.
Inurnment Services and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a future date in Salina, KS. Memorials may be sent to the Bill Clark Memorial Fund in care of Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W Woodard St, Denison, TX 75020.
