Family visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2015 at Bratcher Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel and burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Mark Mitchell officiating.

Wanda was born Tuesday, September 19, 1922 in Denison, TX to Jeff and Josephine Ransom. She was married for 49 years to Ray D Wilson who preceded her in death October 1997.

She worked at Kraft as a young woman and later for Chapman Industries in Sherman. She belonged to the First Baptist Church since March12, 1951…..over 60 years. She was a member Beta Sigma Phi Women’s Service Sorority for over 50 years. She served her community in Denison Texas by volunteering her time for her church, her service sororities many projects, and First Baptist Church, as well as Meals on Wheels until she moved to Austin to live with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray D. Wilson in 1997.

She is survived by her daughter Vickie Lynn Wilson of Austin, TX and her son Gary Ray Wilson of Austin, TX. She has 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
