Thomas Allen Allen McGuire

Allen was born in Carbondale, Illinois on April 26, 1966 to Charles Thomas McGuire and Melanie McGuire.

Allen attended school and spent his younger years in Amarillo, Texas where he made many lifelong friends whom he loved dearly. He told of many happy times spent with them.

Allen graduated from Texas A&M University, West Texas. On December 4, 1999 Allen married Shanna Peratta. Shanna and Allen made their home in Van Alstyne, Texas for the first seven years of their marriage. During this time, they spent many fond moments with their neighbors.

In 2006, Shanna and Allen moved to Frisco, Texas. Once, again, they made many friends in their neighborhood. Allen never met a stranger and was loved by all.

Allen was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. He was dedicated to his work and an exemplary employee. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Allen loved his dogs, time at the lake on his boat and all of the friends he made there. He had an amazing, kind heart.

Allen fought a long battle with cancer and he did it with class and dignity every step of the way. He will be truly missed by all especially by his beloved wife Shanna.

Allen is survived by his wife Shanna Peratta McGuire, his mother Melanie McGuire, his father Charles Thomas McGurie, his grandparents Harriet and Charles McGuire and a host of family members.

Pallbearers are Daryl Baker, Trent Graham, Bill Disch, Todd Gray, JK Granberg, James Baldwin and Robert Leming.
