Kay Marilyn Wallace Hinton, age 79, formally of Denison, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018, one day shy of her 80th birthday in Spring, Texas.
Marilyn was born to Mattie Lew Duncan Wallace and Elmer William Wallace. Marilyn attended Layne School, Denison High School and East Texas Baptist College. She loved the Lord, playing the piano and traveling. She was the pianist at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church, Parkside Baptist Church and Glenn Rose Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. She worked for 25 years at Baker Hughes, Houston, Texas, as a Billing Specialist retiring in 2007. Marilyn married Kenneth Allen Hinton, of Denison, February 1957.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Allen Hinton Jr; daughters, Jeannie K Hinton Smith and Karen L Hinton; sister, Verna Wallace Morton; grandchild, Jessica K Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Virginia Wallace Bailey and Vivian Wallace Draper.
Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Thursday, October 25 at 12:00 p.m. at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 West Woodard, Denison, (903) 465-2323 followed by a graveside service, officiated by Carl Bilderback, at Fairview Cemetery.
