Jimmy married Barbara on Sept 3, 1961 in Denison, Texas where they started a family. Jimmy was a hard worker all his life and took pride in supporting his family. He had a heart of gold and always lived by the Golden Rule, doing the right thing and helping his fellow man. He was a member of the Assembly of God in Waskom, Texas for over 40 years.
Jimmy is survived by; son Jimmy Kuykendall Jr. & wife Lori of Honey Grove, Texas; son Michael Kuykendall & wife Vickie of Denison, Texas; and son Richard Kuykendall & wife Jan of Waskom, Texas; brother J.P. Kuykendall & wife Mary of Bonham, Texas; four grandchildren & a host of friends.
The family would like to acknowledge the personal healthcare of Jimmy by his caregiver Casey Mansea, and to Kendall Totty for his support and attention to the needs of the family during this time.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Kuykendall; brother Riley Kuykendall, sister Mildred Miller and his parents.
Family visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday November 5, 2018 at Bratcher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas with a Graveside service to be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday November 6, 2018 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.
