Greg was born Tuesday, March 12, 1957 in Denison, TX to Keith and Peggy (McKee) Mack. He graduated from Denison High School in 1975. He went on to get his Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising from North Texas. He was an Eagle Scout in Troop 605; He loved to ride horses, hike the Colorado Mountains and was a real outdoorsman. Greg spent a lot of time on Lake Texoma where he loved to sail. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Dallas Cowboys. Greg owned Taylor Mack Advertising in Fayetteville, AK but his hobby and passion was in his art and where he spent most of his time at the Gyst Art Gallery on Main St in Denison. Greg will be remembered by his family and friends for his generous spirit and kind and loving heart. Greg was fortunate enough to have many loyal and loving friends that he considered family along with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Mack; an older brother Geary Mack and his grandmother Winnie Nichols.
He is survived by his father, Keith Mack of Denison, TX; his brother Jeff Mack and wife Lee Ann of Nashville, TN; 2 nephews, Chad Mack and wife Jessica of Ft. Worth, TX, Keith Mack of Nashville, TN; 2 great nieces, Ivie Mack and Lillia Mack; 2 aunts and numerous cousins.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be 4:00 pm Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Gyst Art Gallery, 517 W. Main, Denison, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you make donations to a scholarship foundation at the educational facility of your choice to further the education of the Arts.
