Rose Sarah Sapadin

Our dear mother Rose Sarah Sapadin sadly passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 87. Rose was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. Our mother had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Delray Beach, Florida where she was an active member of Temple Sinai. Mom was a hidden child survivor during the Holocaust and she donated time educating children about her experience. French cooking and baking were her passion; she fed us and friends at every opportunity with delicious food. She was predeceased by husbands, Bernard Lichenstein and Seymour Bud Sapadin, and is survived by sons Henri and Richard Lichenstein, their spouses Elizabeth Lichenstein and Maura Rossman, respectively and grandchildren Stephen, Sarah, and Michael Lichenstein.

If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the funeral service we are holding in her honor at Riverside-Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 7205 West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach on 4/2/23 at 1:00 PM. After service, there will be a committal ceremony at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach.
