The family and friends of Phil Roth have said their final goodbyes to the best Husband, Dad, Brother, Stepdad, Father-in-law, Grandfather, Uncle, friend, mentor, U.S. Army Veteran, tennis partner and comedic genius we have ever had the pleasure to know. The man, who fondly referred to himself as one of the only people he knew whose parents were so poor they couldn’t afford to give him a middle name, left us Sunday evening, November 13. He is survived by his amazing wife and best friend Annie, Sister Anne, children Mitchell (Lorraine), Steven (Joyce) and Alan (Nelly), step children Eric, Edward, Deborah and John (Harell) and grandchildren Adam, Gabrielle, Jonathon, Noah, Luke, Nate, Danielle, Alexis and Hope. He has touched our hearts and souls, left us with the best of memories and the biggest of smiles. He’ll now get to see Lillian again. You will be greatly missed and will live forever in our hearts. A memorial service to celebrate Phil’s life will be held on Friday, December 2 at 2:30pm at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers, if you want to donate in his honor, we’ve found the Fisher House Foundation and Vitas Community Connections to be worthy recipients. They can be reached at www.fisherhouse.org or http://www.vitas.com/community-connection/donate
