Kenneth D. Newman of The Bronx, New York and Coconut Creek, Florida passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 74.
Kenny is survived by his three loving brothers, Lawrence, Robert, and Richard, along with sisters-in-law Joanne and Anita. In addition, he has had always had fulfilling connections with his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Kenny was born on November 22nd, 1946 to Julius and Evelyn Newman of The Bronx, NY. He graduated from Queens College and began his long tenured teaching career in mathematics. Kenny not only taught, but he mentored thousands of his students of all generations. His passion for teaching far exceeded the four walls of the classroom, and long after retirement he made frequent visits back to the Bronx to be with his former students. Kenny enjoyed spending time with family and friends in his retirement days in Florida. He will be missed by many.
A graveside funeral is planned for Thursday, June 3rd at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
