ROSS, HARRY BERNARD died peacefully in TrustBridge Hospice in Delray Beach, Florida on December 31, 2016 at age 89. Born September 17, 1927 in Philadelphia to the late Max and Sarah Rosenbloom, Harry is predeceased by his beloved wife, Elaine Ross. They spent their 52 years of marriage in Drexel Hill, PA with winters in Florida in their later years. Harry leaves behind three children: Glenn Ross, Nadine (Ross) Eissler, and Leslie (Ross) MacDonald; three stepchildren: Lynn (Smith) Fulstone, Shellie (Smith) Hatfield, and Gerri (Smith) Weagraff; and ten grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister and brother. Harry attended Dobbins Vocational School. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1947. Upon his discharge, Harry entered the field of electronics, and spent his career as a television repairman. After retirement, he and his wife Elaine traveled the country (by RV and car) for many years. Harry loved singing and entertaining people with his operatic tenor voice. He performed with several community theater groups including Manoa Players and Players Club of Swarthmore.
