During his lifetime, John worked in various jobs from tug boats, Rainbow Paper Company, the oilfield and lastly, his beloved Live Oak Gardens for 30 years.
He will be remembered as a loving husband , father, grandfather and friend. John was a gentle, quiet soul who possessed the gift of patience with a special touch of humor. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in the upkeep of his yard and his birdfeeder making sure that all feeders were filled along with the birdbath every day.
He had a great love for music and he enjoyed playing his harmonica and singing for family and friends.
Above all, John had a tremendous love of God and believed whole heartedly to talk to Jesus only about your troubles.
John led a simple life as his wants were few. He was a blessing to all those who knew him bringing sunshine with his smile. Our miracle, our love – sleep with the angels sweetheart! We all miss you terribly.
