Hilda Landry Delcambre

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Lois Raymond Delcambre, the former Hilda Landry, age 90, at 3:00 pm Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Our Lady of the lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at church mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church from 2:00 pm until service time with a Rosary at 2:30 pm.

A native of Abbeville and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Delcambre passed away at 9:54 am on Tuesday,

July 30, 2013 at Maison du Monde Nursing Home.

She is survived by her sons, Lois Brent Delcambre and his wife Carol of Lakeland, Florida and James V. Delcambre and his wife Kathryn of Delcambre; four grandchildren, Anita Henry, Garrett J. Delcambre, Kristine Delahoussaye and Travis Delcambre; five great grandchildren and one brother, Bernard R. Landry, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lois Raymond Delcambre; parents, Walter E. Landry, Sr. and Lilly Rodriguez Landry; two sisters, Floyd L. LeBlanc and Floella L. Renard; two brothers, Walter E. Landry, Jr. and Tildon J. Landry and an infant brother.
