Rosie Blanco

Rosie Blanco gained her wings on Tuesday December 19, 2023 at 58 years old. Born in El Centro, CA on August 25, 1965. Rosie graduated from Richgrove Jr. High in 1979 and Delano High School in 1983. She dedicated her life to medicine, always wanting to help others with her vast knowledge of science. Upon her completing her nursing education at Bakersfield College and San Joaquin Valley College, Rosie spent over 30 years working in the nursing field. Her big heart and dedication helped hundreds of people through their obstacles.

Rosie is preceded in death by her father Samuel Blanco Jr. and survived by her mom Margarita Salazar Blanco. She is also survived by her 3 children; Vanessa Martinez, Veronica Chavez, and Jorge Cortez, 5 grandchildren; Alyssa, Nevaeh, Clifford (Q), Charlee, and Moses and her sister Beatrice Blanco Tabarez (Cesar Rivera), and two brothers Sammy Blanco III (Pamela), and Michael Blanco Sr (Cecilia).

Rosie loved life and loved to help others. Her big smile and loud laugh were noticeable, never shy to show her passion for having fun. She really cared about making others feel welcome and ensuring they were helped first. Rosie will continue to watch over her family, with her everlasting love.

A visitation for Rosie will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Delano, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Delano.
