Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Mhar came to the US in 1981. In December 1982, his wife Penny and children Arnel, Chris, Loreta, Sonia and Fedel joined him in the US. Mhar worked very hard to provide for his family. His goal was for his children to have more than what he ever had and he achieved that. He was proud of his children’s accomplishments especially with the loving families they now have of their own. Mhar loved to go home often to the Philippines to see his brothers, sisters and many nephews and nieces. He liked spending time with relatives and friends. Mhar was strong-willed and loving in his own ways. Most especially, he was much loved by his wife Penny - his soulmate. If there’s a song that was fitting to how he lived his life, it would be the song “My Way”. Yes, Mhar did it his way.
Mhar Laurentino is survived by his spouse, Josefina Cabagbag.
