Magdalena Silva Armendariz

Mrs. Magdalena Armendariz, age 89 passed away in her home on September 23, 2015 in Delano. She was born on July 22,1926 and resided in the Delano area for the past 87 years. Mrs. Armendariz was employed as a cosmetologist.

Magdalena was survived by her daughter, Erlinda Armendariz of Delano, Granddaughter, Stephanie, husband Angel Lepe of Ventura CA., Grandsons, Enrique Zuniga, of Delano, CA., great grandson, Alec Gomez, Ventura, Ca., Sister, Alice Armendariz, of Delano, CA., 6 nieces, 5 nephews, including a multitude of great nieces and nephews.

Magdalena was preceded in death by her parents, Emiliano and Soledad Bejarano, sisters, Jovita Reyes, Enedina Torrez, Granddaughter, Valentina Zuniga, Great granddaughter, Kiana Zuniga.

Services: Rosary/Mass, October 1, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church @ 9:00 a.m. Burial and reception immediately following.

In speaking with the family they have will recall fondly Mrs. Armendariz's hobbies of crocheting blankets, playing casino slots, playing the card game 31 with family and friends. Mrs. Armendariz enjoyed watching novelas. Her most cherished time was spent visiting with her family in Ventura County, including grand dogs she grew to love.
