With profound sadness and hearts full of love, we announce the passing of Julia Rutiaga Magana, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Julia departed this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of strength, warmth, and unconditional love that will live on through her family.
Julia is survived by her devoted husband, Jose Magana, and her children: sons Carlos Magana, Joe Magana, Johnny Santiago, and Frank Santiago; and daughters Anita Peralta, Julie Castellon, and Yolanda Santiago. Her life was richly blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Honorato and Anita Rutiaga, as well as her cherished siblings: brothers Antonio and Alfredo Rutiaga, and sisters Maria Rutiaga, Benita Salinas, Margarita Aragon, and Josephine Gonzalez.
Julia was the heart of her family—a source of wisdom, resilience, and endless compassion. Her memory will forever be cherished, her presence dearly missed, and her love eternally felt by all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
