I know I've never told you that In person .. but you are .. you came from nothing and broke the chain .. and became someone ... Man brother what can I say……Let me start by telling you I love you and miss you dearly. I still can’t believe this $!*% I remember being kids at your grandmas and we needed haircuts but we couldn’t afford to go to the barbershop and get a cut but we came up on $14 and walked to Kmart and got some clippers and ran home to practice on each other 🤣 in a hot ass garage with our hair sticking to our heads but we didn’t care…….fast forward to being men you set the bar high bro from getting it out the mud to being a business man and leading as an example to help out in the community…..you really did that bro!!!!!!! Brick by brick you built your own movement and we are gonna keep that flame lit…… I love u brother

I love you Carlos, you will forever be in my heart & I’ll cherish all the years we spent together ..Building the  Shop, Carlos Barber Shop aka Back Alley Barbers there are way to much memories to write down. The day I got out of prison my good friend Carlos Gonzalez Encourage me to Advance my education and help me get that extra step of motivation and continue with my education some I made him a promise that I was going to finish my college class and change as a person and help others the same way Carlos’s help others I miss you and love you Carlos REST IN PEACE BROTHER 

I remember when I was younger you were really good friends with my uncle and that made you family because everyone he had was family and I’m going to miss stopping by the barbershop just to talk to you about life but I know that you’ll be reunited with family 

I remember you all the way from Valle Vista, Carlos.  Take the tattoo I did on you into heaven.  Rest easy, my friend.  


Last time I heard from Carlos was the morning he passed around 9 a.m. We texted for a bit then he had said he was craving mundo. So I texted him where to go because in my opinion it's the best spot in Delano. Right after we started talking about our cars. He texted, " We need to go cruising soon together, G." I responded, "Let me know a date and time." We texted for a couple more mins after that. Just after 9 a.m. he never replied.  His passing is a feeling yet I cannot describe. He was a good man. I know he did the most to keep his family with a big smile on their face, just like the one he had on his. Just so you  know Carlos, I organized a cruise in remembrance of what we had planned.  This cruise for you. So you can see us from above. I can still hear you say, "Wasssupp Albeerrt!" Rest in peace carnal. I love you.

My last conversation with my friend Carlos was at the shop he was cutting my baby boys hair and we were just talking about the crazy life we used to be a part of and how far we both came and I told him I was more proud of him because he made something positive out of himself and how much of a great father and husband he was and the last words he said when I was walking out the door was good luck on your job interview. Carlos you’ll always be in my heart and never forgotten 

Our last conversation was about how proud you were of your daughters.  And how I needed to reach out to Gabe and make amends with him because family is the only thing that matters. I hope you know we all loved you.  Rest in peace primo.
