Jody Ann Medina, age 53, loving mother of five and an adoring grandmother to ten grandchildren. She passed away June 7, 2022 at 8:19pm after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. Jody was born in 1968 in Delano, CA. She grew up surrounded by her large family.
Jody had four other siblings and many nephews and nieces. Jody was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman always giving her time to others and she incorporated that into her motherhood. As a mother, she demonstrated great work ethics always smiling to go into her shift at the hospital as a CAN, which she dedicated 20 years of her life. Her dedication and passion showed in her care of other families loved ones going above and beyond for her patient.
On Jody’s day off, she loved to cook and loved going to the beach. As I think of Jody, colorful is what I will always remember never scared to wear the bold colors, which complemented and matched her bold attitude. She will be greatly missed and always in our heart and forever in our memories. We know we cannot have you with us but we are happy knowing that God’s Angels have you under there protective care.
Jody is survived by her daughter Marissa Rodriguez; her son Christopher Rodriguez; her daughter Amy Rodriguez; and her daughter Emily Rodriguez; her mother Olidia Salabery; her sister Lillian Urioste, her sister Kathy Herrera, her sister Cindy Medina and her brother Joseph Medina; her daughter Oralie Rodriguez.
