He is survived by his daughters Luz Serrato, Emma Hernandez, and Carolina Garcia, his sons Victor Orona and Jesus Orona Jr., as well as fourteen grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Jesus is preceded in death by his wife Vicenta B. Orona, his parents Pedro and Isabel Orona, 3 brothers, sister, 1 grandson, and 1 great grand daughter.
A visitation for Jesus will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215, with the rosary beginning promptly at 6:00 PM. A mass in memory of Jesus will take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 1270 E. Washington St., Earlimart, CA 93219 and a committal service will follow immediately after at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.
Serving as pallbearers are Victor Orona, Jesus Orona Jr., Salvador Hernandez Jr., Jaime Orona, Richard Hernandez, Matthew Hernandez, Jesse Ray Orona and Steven Serrato.
