Frederick Intoc Idolyantes, known affectionately as Fred, passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 73 in Delano, California. Fred was born on February 10, 1951 to Antonio and Emiliana Idolyantes, in Samal Island, Philippines. Fred brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his life and will forever be missed.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Edna, daughters Erika King and Nikki (Leywne) Pascua. The light of his world, his grandchildren Alaina & Samara King, London Hawkins, Aeden, Leila, London, Nevaeh, Soraya and Dezmond Pascua. He also leaves behind his siblings Edmund Sr. (Angie), Rosalinda (Arthur) Soriano, Nelson, Richard (Rowena), Jardin (Jojo) Guiango, George (Feb), Gloria Taya and his sister-in-laws Nelda (Antonio Jr) and Jumelde (William Sr) Idolyantes. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Emiliana Idolyantes, and his brothers Robert “Bobby”, Antonio Jr and William Sr Idolyantes.
Fred loved and cared for his grandchildren very much. If you would ask him about them he would tell you that his grandkids are his life. You couldn’t tell him anything about his grand babies. He made a huge impact on their lives.
Fred also enjoyed spending his leisure time at the casino and relaxing at the beach with the love of his life Edna. These simple pleasures brought him immense joy and were a testament to his easy-going nature and love for life.
A visitation for Frederick will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Delano, 707 Browning Rd., Delano, CA 93215. A rosary will occur Friday, July 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM, 707 Browning Rd., Delano, CA 93215. A mass of christian burial will occur Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1015 Clinton St., Delano, CA 93215. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.
Serving as pallbearers are BJ Layog, Jeremy Layog, Warren Idolyantes, Acey Soriano, Andre Soriano, Robert Idolyantes, Alan Idolyantes, Chaldean Delgado, Javier Rodriguez, Rylan Idolyantes and Walter Idolyantes.
