Fernando Zuniga Cervantez 64, of Delano passed away on October 11, 2010 in Bakersfield, California. Fernando was born on May 30, 1926 in Longview, Washington and was a retired truck driver. Fernando has resided in Delano for the last seven years. He is survived by Fernando A. Cervantes, Jr. of Reno, Nevada, Johnny Cervantes of Visalia, California, and Fernando C. Cervantes of San Jose, California. Fernando was preceded in death by his son, David A. Cervantes. Funeral Services will be: Visitation, Thursday, October 14, from 5-8 p.m. at Delano Mortuary. Funeral Service: Friday, October 15, at 1:00 p.m. at Delano Mortuary. Graveside Service: Monday, October 18, 2010 at 10:30 at Visalia City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Fernando A. Cervantes, Jr., Fernando A. Cervantes III, Fernando C. Cervantes, Miguel F. Cervantes, Loyd Cervantes, and Abel Alvarez. Presiding clergy will be Rev. Ben Diaz.
