Dorothy P. Delrio was born to Helen Navarro and Joe Pinuelas on June 11, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA. Dorothy moved to Delano, CA. at an early age and this is where she enjoyed the remainder of her life surrounded by those she loved. Growing up she attended Cecil Ave. Middle School as well as Delano High School and before she retired she worked locally at the Delano District Skilled Nursing Facility. Dorothy passed away on Friday August 16, 2019 at the age of 64. She will truly be missed.
She is preceded in death by her father Joe Pinuelas and is survived by her mother Helen Navarro; her husband Santos Delrio Jr.; her brothers Richard Pinuelas and Johnny Pinuelas; her sister Suzie Pinuelas; her son Richard Delrio; her daughters Lori Delrio and Gina Delrio; and her grandchildren Matthew Delrio, Kobe Carter, Krystal Carter, Kylie Carter, Natalie Delrio, and Savanna Evaristo.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215 with the rosary beginning promptly at 6:00 PM. A mass of christian burial will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary's of the Miraculous Medal Parish, 916 Lexington St., Delano, CA 93215 with the committal service following immediately after at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Carter, Javier Evaristo Jr., Ray Marquez, Martin Alejandro, Anthony Delrio, Johnny Pinuelas, Matthew DelRio, Kobe Carter and Richard DelRio.
