David Edgar Garcia

Our beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, uncle, and friend is survived by his beloved mother and father; Martha A. Rojas and Guadalupe Garcia; his three sisters; Jessica, Gisselle, and Jasmine Garcia; Grandparents; Francisco J. Rojas, Socorro Rojas and Brigida Romo, Ramon Garcia; and his nephew; Christopher Ramirez Jr. Along with his uncles and aunts, who all dearly love David.

David Garcia was born in Artesia California on December 4, 1990 and lived in Delano California for 19 years. David graduated from Cal State University of Bakersfield with his Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies in June 2013. He enjoyed playing and watching soccer and loved to spend time with his family. David loved to listen to a variety of music from reggae, rap, country, Chalino Sanchez, and even tolerated his mom’s romantic music. He also enjoyed cooking and experimenting with different recipes. David had a great sense of humor and tried to always put a smile on everyone’s face. He was very humble and caring and was always looking out for others. David would always strive to succeed in all his endeavors. He always knew how to brighten up a room and wanted a better world for everyone. He had a strong faith in the Lord and the Virgin Mary and always kept a positive attitude. One of his favorite quotes is by Isaiah 53, “By the stripes of Jesus Christ I am healed.” He is now healed and reunited with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary. David will always be in our hearts and be our guardian angel.
