Celia Narvaez Zamarripa, was born in Wilson County, TX on September 4, 1940 to Jose and Anastacia Narvaez. She lived in Delano, CA for a majority of her life, ultimately passing away at the age of 79 on Tuesday October 1, 2019. She was a wonderful mother, grand mother, great grandmother, and sister. Celia will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her father Jose Narvaez; her mother Anastacia Narvaez; her husband Jose Ramon Zamarripa; her sisters Beatrice Narvaez, Irene Narvaez Castillo, Alicia Narvaez Soto, Elida Narvaez, and Velia Narvaez Coronal; her son Rudolpho Zamarripa, and her granddaughter Samantha Bosquez.
Celia is survived by Carlos Bosquez (Delano, CA), Rolando Bosquez (West Valley, UT), Olga Bosquez (Delano, CA), Elizabeth Bosquez (West Valley, UT), Raymond Zamarripa (Delano, CA), Hilda Torres (Delano, CA), Robert Zamarripa (Delano, CA), Arturo Narvaez (Allensworth, CA), Elodia Narvaez Gonzalez (Pixley, CA), Ernestina Narvaez Trevino (TX), Trinidad Narvaez (Wasco, CA), Maria Narvaez Guerrero (Porterville, CA), Minerva Narvaez Lorta (Porterville, CA), as well as 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 others on their way.
Services for Celia will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM with the rosary beginning at 6:00 PM at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A mass of christian burial will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary's of the Miraculous Medal Parish, 916 Lexington St., Delano, CA 93215. A committal service will follow immediately after mass at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.
Serving as pallbearers are Carlos Bosquez, Rolando Bosquez, Robert Zamarripa, Raymond Zamarripa, Rudy Zamarripa Jr., Ruben Montez, Alex Torres and Fabian Silva.
