Benjamin Herrera Solorio

Benjamin Solorio Herrera age 52, passed away at Delano Regional Medical Center on January 22, 2014. Mr. Herrera was born in El Triunfo Michoacan Mexico on July 7, 1961. He resided in Delano for 35 years.Upon arriving to California, Mr. Herrera was employed as a farm labor and construction work.

Mr. Herrera is survived by his wife, Maria Elena, children Linda, Benjamin Jr., Horacio and Bryan and 9 grandchildren, Crystal, Kassandra, Kimberly, Eduardo Jr. Benjamin III, Julian, Damian, Jaden and Sophia Nicole. Mr. Herrera had a total of 61 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Herrera was a very hard working man, always finding ways to keep busy. We will alway remember our father as being very generous, doing favors for everybody he knew. We will always remember my dad always having a smile on his face, listening to his favorite radio station "El Gallito", tunning in first thing in the morning.

We will miss when our dad would light his grill and grilling corn or garbanzos. We will mis sharing some cold beers with him.

Our father will be missed, but will always be remembered and loved.
