Wilma Lawanda Rinehart-Adams was born August 14, 1927 in Washington, Oklahoma to Leath Henry Rinehart and Nora Lillian (Garvin) Rinehart. Wilma entered her eternal rest on March 17, 2015 in Tribbey, Oklahoma. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Horace Joseph Adams “Frenchie”; and her brother, Dale Rinehart. She is survived by her daughter, Lillian A. Fields and her husband Steven E. Fields; her son, Dennis G. Adams “Jerry”; grandchildren: Tina Hays and husband Harold Hays, Todd Fields and wife Kelly McCauley; great-grandchildren: Drake Mitchell, McKenzie Mitchell, Brookelyn Mitchell, Gavin Hays, Kaliope Hays, Caden Fields, and Morgan Fields; sisters: Alma, Nita, Shirley; and many other family members and friends.
Wilma enjoyed playing bingo and garage selling; she was always able to spot a garage sale no matter where she was. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, many people enjoyed her spaghetti above all else. Wilma also loved to tell stories and was very good at it. Wilma was a true caregiver from the get go. As a young girl she put her education to the side so that she could care for her siblings and other family members. Wilma is one of the most selfless people you could have ever known, she was always there for you. Wilma was a mother, a caregiver, and a counselor; and when it came to her grandchildren there were no boundaries. It didn’t matter the occasion, Wilma would take any opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. Wilma was exactly what a mother should be, loving and caring; Wilma will be missed but never forgotten.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, Oklahoma.
