William "Leroy" Roop

Leroy was born on October 24, 1950, to Albert Bolton and Bonita Belle Roop, in Bartlesville, OK. He graduated from Owasso High School in 1970.

On May 7, 1976, Leroy married Sue, and from that union came two children, Alicia Gurule and Eric Roop.

Leroy retired from Metheny Concrete, where he had been a truck driver for over 30 years. He was an avid woodworker and made many projects and gifts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, AB Roop and Bonita Roop.

He is survived by his wife, Sue, of the home; children, Alicia Gurule (Melissa) of Utah, and Eric Roop of Del City; five grandchildren, Bryana, Brittny, Brandon, Austin and Cherri, all of OK; two great-grandchildren, Aden and Amias; sisters, Shirley Weygandt (Lance) of Oologah, Judy Williams of Tulsa; brothers, John Roop (Terri) of Owasso, and Frank Roop (June) of OKC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for William will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.
