William (Bill) Patrick Quirk was born on May 5, 1930 in Madison Lake, MN. He passed away on July 2, 2017 in Del City, OK. Bill was a 4 year U.S. Navy Veteran, was a firefighter for the Reno Nevada Fire Department for 5 years. After leaving Reno, Bill and his family relocated back to St. Paul Minn. where he was a Federal Police Officer at the VA. He retired in Oklahoma working for the VA. Bill was funny, loving, happy and easy going and he was always there for anyone who needed him. He was a loving husband to his wife Carolyn for 60 years. He loved Wheel of Fortune, ice cream, seeing his grandkids and making his funny face. He also loved the farm in Minnesota, playing golf and hunting. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Grace Mary; son Robert; brothers John and Bob. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carolyn Quirk; his children Julie Quirk, Teresa Edwards, Anita Quirk, Colleen Davis (Mike), Mark Quirk (Julie); sisters Mary Ann Dumas, Pat Boucher and Grace Quirk; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Fr. Joseph Sundar Raju Pudota will officiate.
