am so sorry for your loss. I loved all the Culwells. Wesley was so good to me, around 1965 I was in school with Sherry , best friends,  and every weekend I went to their house. Wesley had a horse and he let me call it mine. I named him Mr. Golfpher and Wesley taught me all about horses. He was so patient because I asked millions of questions. I loved it there with Marvel and Ricky too. Some of my best memories were there. Wesley was so kind and always made me feel special and welcome. My mom is 100 yrs now and I know how hard this is for all of you. 

One last goodbye.  He didn’t want to let go of my hand - nor I his. Forever.

I had lost my husband 3 months before this trip. I asked if I could go Wes graciously said yes. We had a wonderful trip. On our way back We were on the plane with D-day vets. Wes enjoyed talking with them.  I don’t think he ever met a stranger.

I am sorry that Wes passed away.  I worked with him several times, when we were employed by Western Electric.  He was a good friend as well as a mentor.  I always enjoyed working with Wes.

So sorry to hear this.  Prayers for the family. You will be missed my sweet man.  Loved just stopping in to say “HI”. I would get a lesson on chickens , hear all about what had been going on, who had stopped by and old times.  I always left with eggs, veggies and my heart full of memories and love!

I will miss the inspiration, love and friendly smile.

We have very fond memories of Wes, it was so lovely to meet him and  Darcey, Isla and Louella all thought so much of him. Such a lovely man who we had the pleasure to know, thoughts are with all Wes’s family and friends and sending lots of love xxxxx

Wes what a lovely man you was , you will be greatly missed by  our uk family , over the many years you came to visit mum and us we have loved having you from all you memories and story’s you told us from growing up to your war days and fishing trips we have loved hearing them all , from walking into mums when you visited to be greeted by you with your  well howdy in that American accent always made me smile 😊, may you rest in peace all my love Jane and you uk friends 

Mr. Culwell was a family man and loved them. I’ll never forget he took time to share good times with Wesleys friends too. He took us all fishing/camping and also rode m/c with us around Draper lake area. Caint remember what his motorcycle was but it was big. He made sure we all rode safe!.  Mr Culwell always had a great smile. He was kind and caring! We will always remember him. Truly a great man.

A truly wonderful man who will be sadly missed and fondly remembered from his many times he visited us in England as he always called us his uk family.  A very dear friend to our late mum who he met when he was stationed over in England, they rekindled the friendship over 50 years later and enjoyed speaking to each other daily for hours over Skype, and the many holidays he made to the uk. Rest in peace Wes you will be missed by us all. All our love goes out to his family and friends at this sad time lots of love Karen, Jane, Sue, Danny and Terry xxxxx
