Wanda Sue Wynne

On March 25 th, 2024 Wanda S. Wynne (Brown), of Newalla Oklahoma, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away. She was 67 years old. She leaves behind her sisters Janet Alcorn and Mary Hales, daughter Christine Leatherman, grandkids Danielle Disterlic, Ashley Banton and husband Michael Banton, Bradley Disterlic, and Andrea Leatherman, great grandkids Devin Disterlic, Brianna King, Bentley Easley, and Ace Banton. She is preceded in death by her parents Billy and Betty Brown and her husband Luther (Buck) H. Wynne.

Wanda married Buck shortly after high school and had their only child. She enjoyed traveling and got to move to Europe with her husband and daughter. They spend a couple of years there before moving back to the states. As she got older she would do get aways with her daughter. Take a weekend here or a week there and just find somewhere to go and something to do. Whether it be off to Biloxi for a week of vacation or just down to Madill for a weekend getaway she was always looking forward to her next trip

She had a true love for family. She hosted holidays throughout the year and made sure to made it to every birthday party. With so many grandchildren and great grandchildren this kept her busy. She was loved by many and will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by all.

The family will be holding a private party to celebrate her life.
