She was a loving wife to Thomas, and devoted mother to Tommy. She enjoyed camping, water skiing, square dancing, traveling, and reading. Wanda was a wonderful baker, and made the best chocolate pies and cookies. She humbly devoted her life to her handicapped son, seeing that he lived as normal a life as anyone else. She drove Tommy Lee to OU every morning to his college classes, and would stay with him and push him to each of his classes, until the day he graduated college.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Kay; son, Tommy Lee Kay; siblings, Verda Hert and Claude Everett Richardson. Survivors include her sister, Gulah Stilley; brother-in-law, Felix Kay and wife, Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved and will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
